Building relationshipswith community partners or building social capital is not always easy for
thosewe serve. As ameans tohelpwithboth, we heldour 1st Annual Creating Connections
Picnic. Local businesses and agencieswere invited to share their informationwhile guests
danced, playedmusic, sports and games, whilemaking new friends and connections.
The focus of the daywas tohave funwhile participating in social activity, helping eachperson
enagagewithnew friends, employees or communitymembers. The success of the event was
overwhelming. We look forward to the next one knowing it will be bigger andbetter. A special
thank you to all of our dedicated employeeswho shared their time and talents aswell as our
community partnerswhoprovided valuable informaiton to thosewho attended.
