Aspeoplemove “up” our Employment Continuumof programs, they
reduce their relianceongovernment funded support systems and
establishan independent lifestyle.
To further validate thequalityof our services, weapplied for a
certificationwhichwouldendorse this commitment. Last year our
programswereevaluatedby theCouncil onQuality Leadership (CQL),
anationally recognizedfirm. I ampleased to share that Community
Serviceswas awardeda three year accreditation. This confirms that the
Agency’sprograms and services areperson-centeredandof thehighest
quality.
Working closelywith communitypartners is anessential part of the
Agency’s continued success. Building relationships through collaborative
projects enablesus todevelop innovative services.Oneproject, funded
through theNYSOfficeofMental Health, provides adaptive technology
toassistwithmedicationadministration. This innovative system
eliminates redundancies andhelps ensureweareproviding thebest
possible care.
